Chisom Obiudo is the founder and  managing director of Directed Governance Consultancy. She is also a legal and governance practitioner with 10 years of experience in the legal services industry.

Her objective is to embed an organisational culture of good governance and to provide governing bodies with the most effective governance practice tools and strategies they can implement to improve their organisational outcomes and address performance and governance challenges.

Chisom currently serves as the Governance Committee Deputy Chairperson at the Namibia Investment Fund (NIF) . As a thought leader and millennial advocate of good governance, Chisom has been a columnist for the Namibian newspaper on various corporate governance topics ranging from innovative strategic direction, SME governance, governance dilemmas and talent management, amongst others.

She is a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Directors South Africa and the Namibian Law Society. Chisom’s areas of specialisation include corporate governance advisory and training, public administration, legal research, law reform, and policy development.
